At Medfin, we’re building the universal financial intelligence layer for healthcare.

Today, healthcare spending is on an unsustainable path.

Providers urgently need clear, actionable data to allocate resources effectively—but today they simply don’t have it. In the UK, if you ask a hospital finance team, “how much does it cost you to fix a broken leg?”, they typically can’t answer.

It’s the same everywhere. In dentistry, practices often have no visibility into net margins or basic KPIs. Across healthcare, the chronic lack of financial clarity prevents meaningful improvement.

So, why does this problem exist?

Healthcare data is fundamentally fragmented:

• Clinical data is locked in EHR or practice management systems.
• Financial data lives separately in accounting software like Xero.
• Transaction data sits in banks, accessed via Open Banking APIs.
